It’s like a fiesta in your mouth! Trust me, you will want to save this recipe! Note: meat is best if it is marinated for 24 hours.
- 1 lb sirloin – thinly sliced
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 1/4 c lime juice
- 2 Tbs taco seasoning
- 1 Tbs oregano
- 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 8 taco shells
- 2 cups sliced mango
- toppings for serving such as hot sauce, arugula, sour cream, guacamole, feta, or shredded cheddar (optional)
In a gallon ziplock bag: Add meat, Olive oil, lime juice , taco seasoning, and oregano. Give a good shake until everything is blended and coated. Refrigerate for 4 to 24 hrs
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet until hot, add onion and cook until browned. Set aside.
In the same hot skillet add meat and marinade. Cook for 2 minutes with out stirring. After 2 minutes stir and cook another 2 -3 minutes
Check for desired doneness of meat and cook longer if needed.
Spoon meat into shells, add onions, mango slices, and desired toppings! Enjoy!
